2024 Fantasy Outlook
Likely has thrived whenever Mark Andrews has missed time due to injuries, but the 2022 fourth-round draft pick out of Coastal Carolina has been relegated to a depth role when Andrews has been healthy enough to play. In the 10 games Andrews has missed over the past two seasons, Likely has compiled 530 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. Over 23 other appearances during that span, Likely has just 254 yards and one touchdown. It’s possible Likely’s strong play when given opportunities in his first two years will earn him a more prominent role in his third campaign even when Andrews is healthy, and Likely’s tantalizing upside makes him a sensible target for best balls, leagues with deep benches or as an insurance policy for fantasy managers who draft Andrews early. That said, Likely’s fantasy value will likely remain limited in the majority of formats barring another Andrews injury. Read Past Outlooks
Arrow pointing up after Year 2
Likely finished his second NFL season with 30 catches for 411 yards and five touchdowns on 40 targets over 17 regular-season games. He added four catches for 50 yards and a touchdown in two postseason games.
ANALYSIS
Though the tight end's target count dropped from 60 to 40, with most of his looks coming during Mark Andrews' lengthy absence, his counting stats and efficiency both ticked up significantly. Likely bumped his catch rate from 60 percent to 75 and his yards per target from 6.2 to 10.3 while topping his rookie totals for receiving yards and touchdowns. Though Andrews is still a major factor in the Ravens' passing game when healthy, Likely is overqualified to be a traditional No. 2 tight end. Baltimore's wide receiver corps is still a work in progress beyond Zay Flowers, however, so there could be more opportunities for the TEs. Likely has downfield ability and plenty of experience working from the slot (231 of 567 snaps in 2023) so his role could expand during his second year in OC Todd Monken's scheme.

Bucs RB Rachaad White is one of the many players whose ADP varies considerably across different best ball platforms. RW's Jerry Donabedian highlights other examples and analyzes positional trends on each site.
The NFL Draft sent best ball drafters scrambling as new talent landed on NFL depth charts, including Ladd McConkey in a weak Chargers wideout rotation.
Most of the big ADP changes can be easily explained, but there are also guys like Isiah Pacheco and Kenneth Walker dropping down the ranks for unclear reasons.
Cardinals teammates Kyler Murray and James Conner are two of Jerry Donabedian's favorite 2024 picks based on early ADP.
Latest Fantasy Rumors
To see Andrews return Sunday
Likely will see position mate Mark Andrews return to the field in Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Chiefs after the latter was activated from injured reserve Friday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Likely has done an admirable job filling in since his star teammate went down with a serious ankle injury Nov. 16, but he'll be sharing snaps with Andrews again come Sunday. However, with Andrews potentially operating under some sort of snap limit, Likely could still enjoy a bigger role than he did as the No. 2 option earlier in the season.

2022
Backup tight ends generally don’t generate much buzz, but Likely quickly became an exception as a rookie last summer with 12 catches for 144 yards the first two weeks of the preseason. Once games counted, the fourth-round pick was mostly stuck behind star TE Mark Andrews but then thrived when he got extra playing time. Andrews played only 10 snaps Week 8 and sat out entirely Weeks 9 and 18; in those three games, Likely caught 15 of 25 targets for 204 yards and two touchdowns. In his other 13 games, he had 21-169-1 on 35 targets. The 6-foot-4, 240-pound tight end now faces tougher snap/target competition from an upgraded group of wideouts, but new OC Todd Monken may nonetheless make two-TE sets a big part of his offense, especially if rookie WR Zay Flowers is slow to develop or Odell Beckham and Rashod Bateman struggle with injuries again.
