Hollins agreed to a contract with the Bills on Wednesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hollins enjoyed a mini-breakout for the Raiders in 2022 with 690 receiving yards -- more than tripling his previous season high -- but then dropped to 251 yards in 13 games with the Falcons in 2023. Though he's valued for his blocking and special teams contributions as much as his receiving ability, Hollins could take some of the snaps and targets that previously went to Gabe Davis, who is leaving Buffalo to sign with Jacksonville. In any case, it's almost a certainty the Bills will be targeting a wide receiver with an early pick in April's draft.

Key short-area target in '24?
Hollins, who signed with the Bills as a free agent March 13, could conceivably inherit some of the many short-to-mid-range targets that Stefon Diggs leaves behind now that he's been traded to the Texans, per ESPN.com.
ANALYSIS
Conventional wisdom dictates the current top wideout duo of Khalil Shakir and Curtis Samuel along with tight end Dalton Kincaid will be the primary beneficiaries of Diggs' exit, but there's a case to be made for Hollins also being positively impacted. At 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds, Hollins is a formidable short-to-mid-range presence that's appreciably stouter than Diggs, who stands 6-foot and plays under 200 pounds. Nevertheless, Diggs averaged 9.3 yards per target or less during his four Bills campaigns while building a reputation for making tough catches in tight quarters. Hollins, who drew 94 targets in Las Vegas just two seasons ago and has often run a similar route tree, could be a good candidate to inherit at least part of Diggs' former role in the offense.

Hollins took advantage of injuries in Las Vegas' receiving corps last year, securing 57 of 94 targets for 690 yards and four touchdowns. After the career year, the 6-4 wideout joined Atlanta this offseason, where he'll presumably take over as the No. 2 behind Drake London with Olamide Zaccheaus off to Philadelphia. Despite a 7-10 record, Atlanta ran way more than it passed in 2022, and things aren't expected to change with Desmond Ridder at the helm. While Hollins will be the second WR, he'll likely be the third option, at best, in the passing attack behind London and TE Kyle Pitts.
