2023 Receiving Projections
2023 Fantasy Outlook
Brooks led the Tide in receiving touchdowns last season with eight, scoring in all but four games for Alabama as a sophomore. He was also second on the squad in receiving yards, and third in receptions. In sum, Brooks caught 39 passes for 674 yards and the eight touchdowns. Jermaine Burton returns alongside Brooks, but the wide receiving corps is unusually thin and raw after that, especially with the transfers of Traeshon Holden, JoJo Earle and Christian Leary. While this could mean even more targets for Brooks than a season ago, it also must be noted that quarterback Bryce Young is gone, and likely successor Jalen Milroe is much more of a dual-threat option than pocket passer. That could negatively impact the opportunities and production for Brooks. However, Brooks averaged 17.3 yards per catch last year to lead the team, and his explosive plays as the deep threat for Alabama should continue to be available no matter who lines up under center. Not dressed for spring game
Brooks (shoulder) was not dressed for Louisville's spring game, Mark Blankenbaker of TheCrunchZone.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brooks not being dressed for Louisville's spring game means he did not participate in it. Fortunately for the wide receiver, he still has several months to heal up from his shoulder injury, which he suffered back in November and is still prevalent as of April.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
Brooks stepped up for the Tide towards the end of his freshman campaign following the season-ending injury to John Metchie III. Brooks tallied a combined 10 receptions for 113 yards and a touchdown during the College Football Playoff. Metchie, James Williams and Slade Bolden all took their talents to the NFL, so Brooks is one of a slew of wideouts figuring to see much more action in 2022. This group includes Georgia transfer Jermaine Burton, Louisville transfer Tyler Harrell, as well as holdovers JoJo Earle and Traeshon Holden. Brooks may have a leg up on the competition, though, based upon his familiarity with the offense and quarterback Bryce Young, as well as his production during the latter portion of the 2021 season.
